no, glasses Rx's and contact lens Rx's are different. the contact lens rx is set for "zero" distance between the eye and the lens, whereas the glasses Rx is set for 13-14 mm away. plus contact lens Rx's include info on sizing and material of the lens. also, glasses Rx's are more accurate when it comes to orientation of the astigmatism.
