i have worn glasses for the past 15 years now and my vision has pretty much stayed the same for the past 5 yrs or so...anyways, while overseas i got a really nice pair of glasses for cheap, i had a written prescription and read one of the numbers wrong on my right eyes axix. instead of 140 degrees i told them 160 degrees. Is there any way someone could fix it or am i screwed into having to buy a whole new pair of classes. :(( any help would be appreciated. thx.

I cannot believe that they made a pair of glasses without seeing the prescription.... that's just wrong!
Here we would not even thinking about filling a prescription without seeing a valid prescription and we photocopy or keep it (the original) for our records (It is illegal not to do so). Since the error was technically yours the place you got them may not do anything for you.... you can always try to contact them and mail your glasses. Anyways the only other thing you can do is bring your glasses into an optical and see if they can replace the one lens... they will need to use the same material, base curve and AR coating if there is any.... if they cannot match the lens they will need to make 2 new ones.... there is really nothing else you can do hun !
