Will there still be any use for Optometrists if people are just going to get LASER surgery?
They won't need to get glasses or contacts so often if they just get the LASER surgery right? So what is going to happen to optometrists in the future?
Answers:
Optometrists will always be needed. There are still other problems with the eyes such as cataracts and when people get older their reading vision goes and that can not be fixed by surgery. Also many children need glasses and there are many people that can not afford the surgery. They will be around for a long time!
