Do eye contact lences cause problem after some time?

They can. The key to avoiding problems is proper sanitation measures, changing your contacts when you are supposed to, (you risk developing corneal ulcers if you don't and an infection sets in) and seeing your optometrist at the first sign of trouble. Many people have a problem with a dry eye type of thing and either change to a lense with a higher water content or use rewetting drops. Some people like myself have allergies and have a problem with protein build-up on a lense that can irritate. Last but not least- have a back-up pair of glasses. Take out your contacts and wear your glasses as your optometrist recommends.
