Trouble with Easyvision disposable contact lenses?!

Question:

Trouble with Easyvision disposable contact lenses?

Hey there. i've been wearing contacts for nearly a year now, and never had any problems. I started on Dailies disposables but now I'm on Easyvision cause i switched to Specsavers.
I don't think I ever had this much discomfort with Dailies though. Everytime I put my contact in, unless I do it with extra extra precision [and i mean OTT care]; my eyes hurt for about 5 minutes after.
its like the contact has curled round and is slowly scraping my eye [thats not what has happened, i know that... but it feels like that]
its like having plastic in my eye. it goes eventually but its agony.
Any ideas what it might be?
could it be the fact there is sometimes a tiny bit of makeup on my hands? seen as though i put them in after putting foundation/powder on and then just before i put my eye makeup on?
thanks in advance :]

Answers:

it sounds as though your lenses are inside out, when you have it on your finger before you put it in, make sure it is the shape of a bowl on your finger. If the edges curl slightly it is inside out. Someitmes having make up on your finger will cause the same thing, make sure you have clean hands and try rinsing the lenses with saline before your put them in, even if they are disposables.

If you still keep having the problem go back to your contact lens optician and explain the problem to them, they should reccomend a different type of lens. (brand or actual lens type).

Im really careless when i put my lenses in and i get the same problem, sometimes it is unbearbabl this is when i get something in my eye, sometimes i get used to it this is when it's inside out. It may be the same for you.
