It is not a scam, however you do have to have a current (not expired) prescription from your optometrist. After you select your lenses on the website, the first step of ordering will ask you for your doctor's contact information so they can verify your prescription information. This is a requirement of all sites, they are not allowed per federal laws to dispense contact lenses without a valid prescription. So if you don't have one, you'll need to get one first. But their prices are excellent, a great online choice to purchase contact lenses.
