i figured as much for the lines, but the tiny bright light doesnt happen very often. It just happened a few minutes ago while i was reading a book so i decided to ask. The light is about the size of a period and lasts about a second. Btw, i don't do drugs and never have. I don't even take medicine very often. Thanks for the answers :D

Answers:

They are called floaters. They are things in the fluids of your eye. Usually they aren't a concern but if the occur suddenly they could be something serious. If you have them mention them at your next eye doctors appointment...its really common. though. Flashes of lights can indicate a tear in the retina or a retina detachment so make sure you see your eye doctor soon.
