Answers:

If you don't wear your glasses because you don't like the way you look in your frames and your afraid of what others will say, then it would seem to me that you need some new, stylish frames. There are lots of affordable styles out there that will be flattering on your face, without breaking the bank. The optician at your Optometrist's office will be able to help you pick out something that looks great and take a friend with you for second opinion. Even though correcting your vision should be more important than what others think about how you look in your glasses, if you have frames that you like, you will be more willing to put them on and keep them on. After wearing them for a while, your eyes will get used to seeing clearly and things will seem blurrier without the glasses. So your eyes will tell you to put them on!

If you're lazy, contacts aren't for you and if you feel that you will not want to responsible enough to make sure that you take them out and clean them properly, then I wouldn't even consider contact lenses. With the privilege of wearing contacts comes a fair amount of responsibility and if you don't think you're up to the challenge, do yourself and your eyes a favor and put off getting contacts until you feel you are ready.
