I get really watery + red eyes at random moments, and it only happens in one eye at a time?

Hey, my eyes RANDOMLY get dry and watery at odd times. Sometimes it's one eye, other times, it's my left. It just tears like crazy, and it turns red. It goes away after a few minutes, but then coems back a few days later, sometimes it's ni the other eye, or soemtimes both....is it allergies?

According to my eye doctor, dry and watery eye is a sign of dry eye, unless you see an eye doctor to rule out infection and allergies. There are eye lubricants and minerals that can help with dry eyes.
