Is it possible to wear hard contacts if you have astigmatism?!

Question:

Is it possible to wear hard contacts if you have astigmatism?

i tried soft lenses but they would roll up and get stuck on top of my eyeball which was terribly uncomfortable and they felt dried out all the time. i hate my glasses but can't see without them.

Answers:

ABSOLUTELY.....usually (with the right fit) gas permeable contacts will give you better vision than ANY toric soft lens (soft lenses made for people with astigmatism). Gas permeable contacts can take some time to get used to, so be prepared for a little discomfort on the front end.
