My left eye is often slightly bloodshot, but necver the right eye...any reason f!

My left eye is often slightly bloodshot, but necver the right eye...any reason for this?

I am a student nurse in my final year. It could be something like a mild infection. Is it painful, itchy? Do you suffer from migraines? i need more information. An eyelash could be causing irritation. Do you wear glasses as it may be time to have your eyesight tested. The strength may not be appropriate anymore on this particular eye. Go to the doctors, its most likely something which can be easily treated.
