I just got contact lenses and have a couple questions?!

I just got contact lenses and have a couple questions?

Ok it takes me about 30 minutues to put them in. Is this normal for a first time user? Also if you have very big eyelashes can that cause it to take longer to go in? The lenses the eye doctor game me I belive are focus. Are those already made for you eye type or are they generic? Is it normal to feel them on your eye for about 10 minutes after putting them in?

Thank you so much for all the answers you guy have been giving me so quick. What I said about Focus contacts I meant were the ones that they give you that day fitted for the way me eye curves. You know because everyone has a different eye curveage.

I also get worried since I can't feel them that they have came out. So I close one eye and see if I can see and repeat with the other eye. lol

I also have Focus soft contact lenses, and they're like a thin piece of cellophane. Yes, it's normal for you to take a while to get use to putting them in. But in time, it'll take you just a few seconds for each eye. Contact lenses are great. Make sure they're wet enough when you put them in your eye. That way they'll be more comfortable. If you're fiddling with your lenses for a long time before you get them in, that may be why you feel them for a while. Eventually, you'll just pop them in and you won't even be able to tell you're wearing them.
