How do you get a contact to stick?!

Question:

How do you get a contact to stick?

I'm new to contact lenses. I've been having problems getting the left one in. I know it's going on the retina but when I try to pull my finger away the lens comes with it! Why is this happening?

Answers:

Your cornea is what you are trying to put the contact lens on...not retina.
Anyways you need to make sure that your FINGER is DRY and your CONTACT is WET. That is the key!!! Also try putting a slight drop of solution in the contact will help it stick to your cornea. It is very important your finger is dry or it will stick to the contact. Also make sure your contact is centered properly before you blink because it may pop off... just look up and down or side to side before closing your eyes.
Hope that helps a bit hun :)
