What would cause my eyes to become sensitive to light?!

What would cause my eyes to become sensitive to light?

my eyes have been so sensitive to light lately, sharp lights like especially at night , streetlights headlights ect.. actually make my eyes hurt way in the back it makes me feel like im going to throw up, what possable things could cause this and what could i do to ease it a little.

Many things cause sensitivity to light. First, the reason you have sensitive to light is because your pupli is not dialating and constricting properly. The light is entering you opitcal cavity at to high of an intensity. This could be a reaction to medications, allergies, or nerve damage. I would only consider nerve damage if you have experience physical trauma to the head lately. Drugs can also cause this to occur. If you are on any drugs such a marijuana or ectasy. This will cause a delay in the pupils reaction time. Try wearing sunglasses to limit the light entering your eyes and wait to see if the sensitivity goes away. If it doesnt, i would recomend seeing a optometrist.
