color contacts or clear??
yeaa im getting contacts today and not sure of what i want...
i heard clear ones give less harms to ur eye is that true/?

I agree with the OD that posted above me. Its not that colored lenses will hurt your eyes, but clear contacts offer better vision because there is no cut-out for the pupil.
Aside from that, my personal opinion is that unless you already have light eyes are you are looking for tinted lenses, which generally look pretty natural on most folks with light eyes, opaque lenses, to me, look incredibly fake. Maybe that's just because I have a trained eye and I can spot them a mile away. But I don't think they look natural or attractive on people who normally have dark brown eyes and they put bright blue or green or purple in. Especially when its an African-American woman putting on violet contacts...doesn't look natural AT ALL. But they still ask me if it does. And my answer is "No. But if that's what you want, I'll order them in for you." I personally, just think they look incredibly fake.
