Floating black thinngs in my sight?!

Question:

Floating black thinngs in my sight?

Is it normal to see like litle black things floating in youre sight had it all my life does everyone else have it?

Answers:

most people who see "little black things" are talking about "floaters" or "muscae volitantes":

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/floater...

most people have a few, and most of the time they are not dangerous. however, sudden onset of many new floaters could be a sign of retinal problems (tear, hole, detachment, etc) and would warrant a dilated eye exam by your optometrist. if this is your very 1st time seeing them, someone probably needs to look.

but yes, most people experience this at some point in their lives. most of the time its not dangerous.

probably not cataracts or "pieces of retina" (as other posters suggested), but rather condensations of collagen. also not from being dehydrated. it *is* usually related to the amount of water in your vitreous, but thats not something you can usually control by drinking more (or less) water.
