I need to know something about my contact lens.?

I just got a box of contacts and i have a few questions.
On the one of the contact lens the right eye one there is a "123" printed on it.(i think only one eye haves it) What do i do with this 123 . Is there a special way to put them on . Should both eyes have the 123 printed on the.

P.S the brand of contact lens is acuve(something like that)

The 123 you are describing is what they (Acuvue by Johnson & Johnson) put on the lens to help you determine if the lens is inside out or not. When you have the lens on your fingertip and you hold it up and read it from the side it should read 123. If it reads backwards, its inside out and needs to be flipped the right way. This is useful if you can't tell by the shape of the lens, which has become increasingly difficult with how thin they are making lenses these days. Thin lenses are good and incredibly comfortable, but the 123 (if you can see it) takes the guess work out of having to flip the lens around a million times before you can tell if you're putting it in the right way or not.
