I have worn contacts before, and I have had a sty before, and I think that combining the two could be rather painful. I learned when I was a child that if you rub a gold ring on a sty it will make it go away much sooner...within a day or two at the most. I have done it many times, and it works. But you have to keep doing it periodically. This is actually an old Edgar Cayce remedy that most people don't know anything about. It does not matter if it is white gold or yellow gold, but it should be at least 14K. *sm*
