I have a 'lazy eye.' Can I get it sorted privately? (I'm in my 40's)?

If I were to have it sorted out privately, how much would it cost?

my daughter has a lazy eye too, i have been told that if by the age of 7 it is not sorted out she ma have to have an operation to shorten the muscle on the one side so the eye is straight.

Here is a site i found that tell you about squits and the other possible treatments that do not involve surgery, you may want to try them first. Sometimes surgery does not work, so your eye may not be functional at all after it.
