Is it true that watching TV too closely is bad for your eyes and you can start to go blind?


Answers:

No, watching modern TVs do not cause injury to any eye structures. Your eyes can get uncomfortable while doing so, but this is mostly due to the fact that we naturally blink less when we are focussed on a screen (this happens also when staring at computer screens for long periods of time - just need to consciously blink more often).

Watching certain programs however can cause severe brain damage.
