Dizziness with polarized sunglasses?!

Dizziness with polarized sunglasses?

I just recently bought a pair of polarized sunglasses. After wearing them I became extremely dizzy with a pretty nasty headache. It was so severe that I had to sleep it off.
Is this normal for polarized sunglasses? My glasses are not name brand, but they aren't the cheapest either they were about $40.00. Let me know if you have to get "use" to wearing them or just to not wear them at all.

I really wouldn't expect polarized sunglasses to cause dizziness unless they are prescription. This is not something polarized lens wears typically experience, it's the first time of heard this. Do you have any other medical issues like high/low blood pressure?
