Should I try contacts again?
I've had 2 pair in the last 15 years. Both pair irritated my eyes, although I could see with them. I'm thinking they're a lot more advanced, should I try again? I either have allergies that affect my eyes(always red, burning)or dry eyes. Also, astigmatism. Are there any contacts for people like me? And, I am going to ask eye doc. all of this, I just wanted some real feedback.

If your eyes are always burning, red and feeling dry without wearing contact lenses, then you need to address these problems. If treatment improves your condition, then it is possible for you to successfully wear contact lenses.
See an eye doctor to treat your eyes FIRST, then go for the contact lenses. You will be advised of the appropriate lenses and solutions to use at that time.
