Reaction to the drops they use to dilate my eyes.?
When I had gone to the eye dr. for my exam I had a reaction to the drops used to dilate my eyes and it was a big mess. Now I'm going again and I'm wondering if there's a name for this reaction and I'm going to talk to my dr. about contacts - will I be able to get them although I have this reaction?

The drops that were used to dilate your eyes are totally different from any contact lens solutions or drops that you will be given.
There is no other name for your reaction except I'm allergic to_______.
I hope you found out what particular drop you were given that you had a reaction to.
I worked 7yrs with Ophthalmologists and Optometrists and not once in those years was I aware of such a reaction though it is not impossible to have a reaction,it's just that it would be considered to be a rare instance.
