Do contacts generally last longer in the winter or the summer?!

Question:

Do contacts generally last longer in the winter or the summer?

My optometrist said one of the two, but I can't remember when or why. Thanks in advance.

Answers:

You should wear them for the prescribed period of time regardless of the season unless something is making them uncomfortable before they are due to be changed. If this is the case, see your eye doctor for a resolution to the problem.
