I have worn contacts for years with no problem, however in the past 2 years I have been getting ulcers in my eyes. At one point in time I would get them almost weekly then I stoped wearing my contacts as often but still get them from time to time. Does anyone know why or had a similar reaction?

If you get the ulcers only when you have your contacts in, then it could be you keeping your contacts in for too long, and you are not getting enough oxygen to your eyes. Alot of times when people sleep in their contacts they become more prone to receiving eye infections, and ulcers.
When you wear your contacts take note of how long you are wearing them, and also where you are wearing them. It could be that you are around an environmental factor that is not good for contacts, such as dust, and it could also be causing you to have these ulcers.
