Eye floaters cause glare?!

Question:

Eye floaters cause glare?

I recently started seeing floaters. They are not as bad as when I first got them. But now when I look at light sometimes, I see a type of glare. It's only when I am looking at, for example, a window or at something bright. I can still see clearly and it only lasts until I blink again. I went to the doctor and he said nothing was wrong with my eye, just floaters. Anyone who has floaters experience this type of glare.

They are not flashes, just a brief glare when looking at some bright things. Kind of like when your contact is dry and you have to blink to make that cloudy glare go away. And it is not my whole eye, just a small section.

Answers:

See your eye doctor. When I first got floaters I remember my doctor telling me if I saw weird flashes of light it could indicate a detachted retina. Not trying to freak you out, I just wouldn't take any chances.
