Is it bad if you leave your contacts in for a while?
i have left my contacts in for over a week and i'm fine with it. its not bothering me at all. people tell me its really bad for me and i shouldnt do it but its easier for me and i like it

I really hope you are wearing extended wear contact lenses that are made for that purpose and I also hope your doctor has recommended you to do so.....If they are not the right type of contacts you are risking very serious damage. I know nothing may have happened yet... but that is how it starts out... then one day something will happen.... then what will you do? Listen to all these professionals they are all saying unless they are extended wear and you were recommended to wear them in this fashion...then do NOT wear them like this.
You should really stick to the wear schedule your doctor has recommended for you. Overwearing contacts can deprive your cornea of oxygen this leaves them susceptible to infection and damage that could be irreversible. Your doctor has given you a wear schedule for a reason.
It is very important to follow proper contact lens wear and care.... if not it could have serious consequences that could end up in permanent damage and even loss of vision in more serious cases. It is not worth the convenience of being lazy at all.
Please talk to your doctor about it, do not change your wear schedule without consulting them first.
