No one else can see them?!

Question:

No one else can see them?

I don't know what I have but I see billions of tiny moving dots all of the time. They are everywhere everything is made up of them and sometimes they are brighter around people. I do not know what they are and no one else I know sees them. Does any one else see the same thing? or know what it is?

Answers:

There could be several reasons for these dots that you perceive. One thing that comes to mind is posterior uveitis. Any form of debris found in the vitreous gel (gel inside the eye) can manifest as dots that are only perceived by the patient. By your description of "billions of tiny dots", whta you might be seeing are inflammatory cells present in the vitreous gel of your eye.

It would be best to see an ophthalmologist and have yourself examined right away. If it IS posterior uveitis, it would be best to be treated as early as possible.
