Has anyone had or have a Uveitis or Iritis multiple times?!

Question:

Has anyone had or have a Uveitis or Iritis multiple times?

I recently was diagnosed with a Uveitis for the 2nd time, and being that is came back, my doc sugested that I see rhuemetologist because I was having stiffness in my knees and shoulders. I also recently had a baby so I'm still carrying around the baby weight and I personally think that's what made my knees and shoulders stiff. I have since lost about 30lbs and my knees and shoulders are no where near how stiff they used to be. I was on an arthritis medication, but I have been off of that for about a month now, and they still feel fine.

I'm still getting a high CRP level in my blood work at the Rhumetologists. It has come down since I first saw her, but it's still considered high.

Any suggestions or help regarding this issue would be appreciative, I just don't know if it's going to be a chronic thing I will have to deal with or what could be causing it.

Answers:

Do you get cold sores inside your mouth easily, dry eyes, joint pain, elevated blood sedimation rate and how high is it.,
Have you had any genital ulcers ( not STD). breathing problems,

The reason I ask all this is uveitis is very rare and is usually related to something else. You are right about seeing the rheumatologist. The diseases related to this are usually related to rhumatology things.
There are several possibilites that come to mind, Lupus,Sjorgens, Bechet's.

I did the same thing about 9 years ago and I had a rhuematology workup, vasculitis was the diagnosis and I have 50% lung function because of the damage it caused.

Good luck, get back to me if I can help anymore
There are also web sights for the listed illness that can help alot.
