Question:
Exactly how bad is my vision?
My contact perscription is:
Left eye: -4.00
Right Eye: -2.75
I'm 16 and nearsighted.
How much worse do you think it'll get?

Well its not that bad hun I've seen many prescriptions stronger then that. As you grow it is normal for your eyesight to change and it is possible that your eyesight could get slightly worse until you are in your late teens/early twenties.
Its hard to say exactly how much it will change because everyone is different.
Since you already wear contacts you may be interested in orthokeratology.
It is basically special contact lenses that gently reshape the surface of your eye, while you sleep, so you can see clearly even after you remove the lenses.
You don't have to be 18 and it doesn't have the same complications as laser eye surgery. As long as you are nearsighted and your prescription isn't over -6.00 you can have it done.
