Wearing my glasses gives me a headache. Any tips on how to get used to them?!

Question:

Wearing my glasses gives me a headache. Any tips on how to get used to them?

I've had these really cute glasses. Problem is, I can never wear them! The frames looked perfect for me when I got them, but when I had the lens put in, I think that the frames were too small so everything became more concentrated. Is that possible? It literally feels like I'm wearing two little magnifying glasses on my eyes that are too strong and too small (I can see the blurry area around the glasses, like if I were to barely glance up, down, left or right, everything would be really blurry). When I do turn my head, it looks/feels like everything warps/moves with me. Every time I wear them, they make me dizzy and gives me such a bad headache that it basically ruins my whole day. I've never worn them for more than a few days, though. Should I just keep wearing them every day as much as I can until my eyes adjust? Or should I stop wearing them daily and only wear them for emergencies?

The frames kind of look like this:

Answers:

The frames sound like they are too heavy for you. I am having that problem at the moment and I have had to go in and get wire frames to stop it. Of course I have a really BAD monitor at work contributing to my headaches, but losing the excess weight will be wonderful. You should get a better pair that is lighter. Hope this helps!!!!
