All my life I've needed to wear glasses. As a baby I was actually blind. Doctors and people kept saying that eventurally I'd get implants to make things fine once I stopped growing. well im 2 mnoths away from being 16 now and the appointment was today and they said wait for like 5 years?

I like to think im a friendly guy. But I just wonder, what the hell did I do to deserve it? Apparently babies get the same surgery done, but I don't? Would it be a wise choice to find another doctor whos willing to do it?

You should definitely get a second opinion but also value the first. Surgery is a really big deal, especially in the eyes. Don't do anything too rash, your health is too important. I'm sure you are a really "friendly guy" but nice things don't always happen to nice people. Good luck!!!
