Question:
What is wrong with my eye it hurts and keeps going all gunky like when you wake up with "sleep" in your eye?
and when I wake up I have loads of extra "sleep" in my eye than normal
what is wrong with my eye it isn't red anymore like it was a week ago

I keep getting sleep in it but my eyes don't stick shut
Answers:
It sounds like you have conjunctivitis.....an extremely contagious eye infection which can be passed on by using the same towels, sleeping on the same pillows etc etc.
Get yourself off to the doctor who will prescribe eye drops for you and maybe some anti-inflammatory's if the swelling is really bad.
Avoid eye make-up until it is gone, otherwise you will be re-infecting your eye each time you 'make-up'.
Also if you have used eye-liners or mascara in the last week, you will need to throw them away for same reason.
