Whats wrong with my eye?

last time i went flying on an airliner, my eye felt like it wanted to explode (during decent).. the guy next to me said it was completely red.. plus there was a lot of pain from what i believe to be my nasal cavities around my eyebrow.. can anyone maybe explain whats going on and is it correctable??

thanks everyone for answering.. im going to the eye doctor this afternoon.. im pretty sure its not a sinus issue because ive had no other symptoms and i know its nothing like pink eye.. right now my eye is perfectly fine and the intense pain went away shortly after landing.. but i fly alot so im going to get it checked out..

Get your eye pressure and angles checked! Symptoms of narrow angle glaucoma attack are:
red eye
pain behind/around eye
feeling of pressure
sudden blurry vision
