Can you wear colored contacts after lasix?!
Question:
Can you wear colored contacts after lasix?
Answers:
Technically, yes. However, you may have new issues to consider that you may not have had to before. Eyes can become more dry after LASIK . . .so if you do have dry eyes, you may need to implement a limited wearing schedule with your contact lenses, or use artificial tears. There are tests the eye doctor can do to help determine if your eyes are dry.
The second issue is that the curve of your cornea is now different (most likely, flatter), since the laser reshapes your cornea. It's usually not a problem, your eye doctor just needs to measure that curve, and ensure your contacts will match your new curve.
Soooo, even if the color contacts are meant for play and not prescription, you still need to be evaluated for them by your eye doctor.
