What can my boy wear instead of glasses to play rugby??
We went to the optician to see if he could wear contacts but his eyesight is so bad that they would not be suitable. Is there anything else he can wear instead that can be used on a rugby pitch???

I've seen basketball players wear them before, most notably Kareen Abdul Jabar who wore them his whole career. Rugby though is an extremely physical sport and I'm sure he can still wear them, but he'll have to re-adjust them frequently because of the contact to the head and face. It's probably nothing more than a big nuisance.
