Blurry vision,watering,itching,eyes stuck together after having eyes closed as in naps/sleeping,gritty feeling,pink,blood shot eyes,swelling Yep it's normal for Pink Eye or Conjunctivitis.
Gotta see an Ophthalmologist to get the prescription that will resolve your problem.
In the meanwhile keep in mind that everything you touch after touching your eye or tissue that you wipe your eye with can be contaminated with the virus.
Don't share your wash rag with anyone and don't share your pillow with anyone as there is virus on these as well.
Pink eye is Highly contagious.
Any eye make up that you have been using during this time or just prior to this needs to be thrown away as it can be contaminated as well.
