Question:
I am near sighted and wear glasses and when i try on sunglasses, it's worse than me not having my glasses on?
why do you think that is and would it be like that no matter what kind of sunglasses i wear? would i ever be able to wear sunglasses?
Answers:
If you have to wear glasses to see far away then your sunglasses will have to be prescription as well. You could either purchase a sunclip for your glasses (usually not that expensive), buy prescription sunglasses, get transitions lenses (which rarely get dark enough in the car for most wearers), or wear contacts and non-prescription sunglasses.
Try polarized sunglasses. These are available in sunclips, prescription, and non-prescription. They are great for most conditions (unless you are a pilot or have an LCD monitor in your car). They are a bit more expensive than buying a pair of sunglasses with only a tint and UV protection but they are well worth every penny. Have your eye care professional show you the difference.
