What is the impact on our eyes if we do not use correct axis in our glasses.?!
Question:
What is the impact on our eyes if we do not use correct axis in our glasses.?
Answers:
The impact would depend on how far off axis the rx is and how strong the astigmatism is. The greater the astigmatism, the less room for error on the axis. The possible result would be eye strain and/or blurred vision. If you feel your glasses aren't visually/physically comfortable take them back to the optician to see if they were made to specifications. If he/she says they were, go to the prescribing doctor for a recheck.
