I have astigmatism. What would happen if I wore normal contacts?
I have astigmatism and I'd really like to get colored contacts. However, colored contacts for people with astigmatism is extremely expensive. Normal contacts are also significantly less expensive than toric contacts. What would happen to my eyes if I were to get normal (non-toric) contacts?

Wearing spherical contacts when you've got astigmatism won't do you much good, I'm afraid. They don't fit well on people with astigmatism and they really don't clear things up much. Your eyes might be blue, but you won't really be able to see all that much better...
Sacrificing clarity, fit and comfort just for some fake looking blue eyes isn't a smart idea...
