Ok so Im going to patch my eye for a day?
to see if it helps with the scratch and if it doesnt i will immediately go to the doctor. Is it dangerous to have an eye patched for a day (what a dumb question! ) anyway... I am asking..thanks!!

No its not dangerous. Make sure the patch is firm enough to prevent your eye from opening. During this process, your cornea is healing underneath and your eye lid becomes a bandage. Just make sure you don't open it. Sleep all day and lay in bed. When looking around, turn your head and not your eyes.
