Straining as in bowel movements and lifting heavy objects can cause a broken vessel.
Uncontrolled High Blood pressure can cause a broken vessel.
Vomiting can cause a broken vessel.
Hard coughing and sneezing can cause broken vessels.
Broken eye vessels are tiny bleeds in the conjuctiva(thin membrane covering the eye),looks like crap but will absorb and you will be OK.
