What is 50/50 vision?

Technically, it's normal vision. Same thing as 20/20. Same thing as 6/6 (in Europe). When you say something like 20/100, it breaks down like this:
The top number refers to the patient's vision. Ie...you can see a certain sized letter from that many feet away. In this case 20 feet.
The bottom number refers to the 'normal' pair of eyes. Ie...the 'normal' person can see the same sized letter from 100 feet away.
So.....20/100 vision...you have worse vision because you have to stand much closer to see a letter of that size than the 'normal' person.
50/50 vision? You're both standing at the same distance....normal eyes.
