The cross from the light of street lamps at night?!
Question:
The cross from the light of street lamps at night?
Most of my life I've noticed that, when looking at street lamps, a long, vertical line of curved light can be seen extending up and down from the light source. A much less prevalent horizontal streak is also usually present.
Near as I can tell it has something to do with the shape of the eye, Since tilting my head likewise tilts the streaks, though to a slightly greater degree than the absolute angle of my head.
Also, I've noticed the streaks become wider when squinting.
My vision is sub-par in my right eye, if that makes any difference.

this sounds like probable uncorrected refractive error, IMO probably astigmatism. not dangerous, but usually a symptom that is fixable with glasses. may be time to see the optometrist...
