What makes human beings need eye glasses?
im near sited, and w/ oy my glasses I have trouble seeing, why was my vision better as a young teen, but now kinda blurry w/ out wearing them....... I used to be 20/40 now im like 20/80 or something

You have a little lens in your eye that focuses the light so that you see a nice, sharp image. There are muscles connected to the lens that control the shape so you can focus on things close up or distant at will.
Over time those muscles can weaken, affecting both the speed of changing focus, and the accuracy.
So as time passes your eyesight can become poorer and require greater correction from glasses.
