ok i've had pink eye for the third time now in 4 or 5 months. the past two times i've gone to the doctor gotten the eye cream( used it exactly as perscribe for a week), trown out all my makeup, contacts, washed EVERYTHING. i mean sheets, pillow cases ,everything. it keeps comming back and its very iratating, could this be somthing else besides pink eye or do i just have very bad luck?

Ask your doctor for a consult with an opthalmologist. He/she will examine the eyeball, inside and around both eyelids, etc.
My sons " pinkeye " turned out to be a growth on his eyeball, which did not respond to treatment and had to be surgically removed. [ he was 9 yrs. old, my husband was deployed, his 5 yr. old brother had the chicken pox, and my dad died in middle of all this! ]
You could also be allergenic to your contact lenses, or the solution, or your makeup...
Also ask if another medication might be more effective.
