Why after I put my contacts in, my eyes burn?
When i put them in, it hurts really bad for a while, and my eyes go all teary and red.
Answers:
Does the tearing and redness eventually go away after like 20 minutes or so? Then its probably the solution you are using. Many people are sensitive to the "all in one" or multi purpose solutions because they have a mild soap in them which is needed for cleaning the contacts. You should look into solution for sensitive eyes or go to the single step solutions. Going into the single step solution takes more time and has a different solution for cleaning and storing but it can help eliminate the burning that you get when you put your contacts in. :)
If the burning continues I would talk to your eyecare professional about the problem... they can help you problem solve to figure out what is irritating your eyes :)
