I wear glasses and sometimes contacts, my eyes feel sore alot like ive been wear!

I wear glasses and sometimes contacts, my eyes feel sore alot like ive been wearing my contacts even wen i don

my eye dr. keeps prescribing patenol and says it allergies but I really think it has to b something else. my eyes hurt so bad most of the time i dnt bother with the contacts even thou i rather wear them... any1 no what this mite could be ??thanks in advance 4 ur help and hopefully i'll be going to get an 2nd opiion soon!!!
