Started in left eye with pus,6 days later went to right and left is clear,Right is more painfull with no pus Using prescribed eye drops,Sanitized everything in sight.How can it be stopped from returning to other eye again and how can it be cleared up faster.

Pink eye is caused by rubbing your eyes. I used to get it a lot in the military. Wiping sweat from my eyes with my fingers. Marching down dirt roads creates a lot of dust. And this causes you to rub your eyes. Dirty hands and irritated eyes equals trouble.
