Eye snaught?!

Eye snaught?
OK, I got home from school today and my one eye was weeping and i didn't know why. But just a minute ago I looked into the mirror to see that I had what look like 'snaught' around the edges of my eye. I have seen my cats with it, and its disgusting. Is this anyting serious? I just want to know, cause if it is anything serious...well...I don't want to loose my vision or anything since I am only 13. Any Help???

Eyes have discharge just like your nose. It's probably nothing serious, you may just have allergies. You never wake up with those dry 'crispies' in your tear duct? It's a similar discharge to that.
If it's really bothering you, go to your eye doctor. I highly doubt it's anything to worry about.
